Highlander is a franchise that wont die. Besides the original series and the immediate spin-off, Highlander: The Raven, there has been cartoons, comics, books, and an audio book series from the UK. Thats ignoring all the movies but the first. Most fans would rather pretend that all the follow-on movies never occurred. At its most basic, the series resolves around immortals wielding swords to cut off the heads of other immortals, trying to achieve the series motto, there can only be one. However, it is the friendships that develop and the moral challenges that must be faced that keeps the fans looking for more. The fact that Adrian Paul looks incredibly hot doing a sword kata doesnt hurt.
